Who we are Wisconsin + Northern Michigan
Since 1993, Youth Alive has partnered with schools and churches to help students live the best life possible.
Get to know usYouth Alive partners with two organizations in every community: public schools and churches.
Our aim is to empower every student in grades 6–12 to live the best life possible. Our dream is to reach every middle school and high school in Wisconsin and Northern Michigan.
We are a faith-based organization. We have built school assembly programs that public-school educators can welcome, with a clear separation between those assemblies and our faith-based programs.
Youth Alive serves students through public-school assemblies and through separate faith-based opportunities with churches and students.

Ask us a question ↗︎Dear public school administrator,
Wisconsin/Northern Michigan Youth Alive is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that empowers 6th–12th grade students to live the best life possible. We have been doing this through public school assemblies and community events for over two decades.
All of our school assemblies focus on positive life change through better choices and the undeniable worth of every student. We do not allow any faith-based content in our school assemblies for any reason.
Any faith-based programs we may do are coordinated separately from our public school events. Attendance for any faith-based event is voluntary, open to the public, and is not sponsored by public school districts.
Our track record has proven us to be a trustworthy partner for public school educators because we desire to work with you in the way that serves you best. References are available upon request.
Thank you for doing what you do.
Sincerely,
Dan Herod
Wisconsin/Northern Michigan Youth Alive Director

Greetings!
My name is Dan Herod. I’ve been working with 6th–12th grade students since 2003. I love seeing positive life change happen in students. My family and I reside in central Wisconsin. Spending time with my family, taking Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, and catching up on one of my favorite shows are how I recharge my soul.
My faith in Jesus Christ has changed everything for me in the best way possible. I am living an incredible life because of all He’s done for me.
For Every Student,
Dan Herod
